Goomoolahra after the rains, Springbrook 2022 – The Doyles Art Award – entrant 2022 (former Darcy Doyle Awards)

This is truly Gold Coast to me, after a week of solid rainfalls I travelled up to Springbrook to do some plein air work, but it was still far too wet but everything lush, and the winds come up and leaves fell from the tops of the trees, totally mesmerising as was the waterbed.
